Metropolis is a
 modern
combination of spicy stripes, textured
fabrics, and velvet corded
highlights. Three
decorative pillows are
included with
each comforter set.
The face fabric is a 100%
cotton duck cloth with
a ribbed
surface texture.
As an offset to the
striped comforter and
sham face cloth, edges
are highlighted by an
olive cording that
provides an simple
outline for the busy
stripes. The whole
face of the comforter
has a small lattice
machine stitch to
provide overall
stability and a
variability in surface
texture. The
comforter is over filled
with 100% hypoallergenic
polyester as are the
decorative pillows.
 The
pillows utilize the same
face cloth as the
comforter, but add
additional cloth
textures and shapes.
The large square pillow
measuring 16x16 inches,
adds a cross of
chocolate brown velvet. The small
pillow is a linking item
pulling fabric from the
bed skirt and the
comforter face with the
same
thin olive velvet
cording as the comforter
face. The accent
pillow is a satin
material with
embroidered circular
flower patterns.
 In
contrast to the
comforter face, the bed
skirt is a deceivingly
simple solid color, but
on closer inspection you
notice the detailed
woven highlights.
The drop is 16 inches
and the decking material
is a solid ecru woven
cloth.
The entire ensemble is
shipped in a vinyl bag
for storage and reuse. |
